Donna Hiatt's Cornbread

1 1/4 c whole wheat flour
1 c milk
3/4 c corn meal
1/4 c vegetable oil
1/4 c sugar
1 egg
2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt

Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl.  Add the wet ingredients and stir until just moistened.  Bake in a greased 9" square pan at 400 F for 20-25 minutes.
